The office this week...

I know I'm a little late.
We watch the office on line because our antenna lost the ability to pick up nbc.
But the first five minutes of the Office this week was tv royalty. When Dwight started the fire in the office and Oscar fell through the ceiling tiles I almost peed myself.
Well done Office...
Just when I thought it couldn't get more awkward you find a way to have people in the office slamming and destroying a copier against the door to escape a fake fire.
Well done indeed!
Hang in there Stanley...we're prayin'.

Anytime...anywhere

I own people in Scattergories. It's all about Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer when you roll an R and you're listing animals. 3 points. Unbelievable. Can't believe I just gave that one away.
You guys can have your D & D parties (I mean Settlers of Catan parties) while you're trading your Pokemon cards but I'm stickin' with Scattergories.
Best game ever!

Alyssa spilled the beans

I found out what I'm getting for Christmas.
Not only can you get it at Walmart...but I hear it smells like a BBQ stain on a white t-shirt.
Is there really anyone in the world that would look at this ad and go out and purchase this stuff.
I apologize if you're wearin' some McGraw right now...smellin' like rose petals and cow patties!

You gotta give it to Zeke

How can you be mad at him when he does stuff like this? I think he's the most creative kid I've ever met. This morning I wake up to Sofia screaming. I come into their room and Zeke has scotch taped her into her bed so she can't get out...genius!
Side note...Moses slept from 11-4:30 last night...praise Jesus.
Of course he was awake from 4:30-6 and then Zeke and Sof were up at 6:45 but you gotta celebrate the little victories!

My stairs

I just turned the corner to go up stairs and started crackin' up. I wonder if it's possible to have something strewn on every step!

You think this sign kept me out of our community pool?

nope!!!
Jumped in today.
Reminds me of the scene in Cattyshack when Bill Murray picks the Baby Ruth out of the pool and takes a bite...good times!

Bush visits Redding

The prez is comin' to Redding tomorrow. I'm gonna make my way to Air Force one and see if he'll sponsor me for Hackfest. I heard Bush is pumped on the Stirring's first church plant so I'm thinkin' I can get at least 20 bucks out of him. Keep your fingers crossed!

Pastor superhero's

This guys blog is awesome. He pairs up some well known pastors as superhero's. Thought it was fitting with the conversations we've been having at the Stirring.

Getting too serious...

Chuck Norris has a unique gift to bring balance to a blog when it gets too serious.
Go check out the facts here...good times.
Which one's your favorite?
Here's mine: There is no chin behind Chuck Norris' beard. There is only another fist!

Classic Life Group moment

Last night we are closing our Love and Respect group in prayer. Alyssa is praying and as the word amen is coming out of her mouth Tracy's phone goes off and it's Marvin Gaye's "Let's get it on." I started dying laughing, it was the greatest ending to a prayer in the history of prayer.

This is the only small group moment that tops that one...

We are sitting around in a circle in our first house in Riverside. We open our eyes from prayer and our dog Jonas has laid a hot piping loaf right in the center of our circle.

And weeks before that Jonas ate Philippians 2 out of Kyle's Bible...classic! I hated that dog.

Share your best small group moment...
