Things you only see in Redding (part whatever)
Redding local commercials have to be the most hilarious things you've ever seen. We just saw a car commercial that had a guy that painted his face green, wearing a fuzzy green body suit, and a kermit the frog taped to his head jumping around the cars yelling REBATE...REBATE...REBATE.
Hilarious!

Paul and mine's favorite Redding ad all sung to a catchy tune:
"He's the glass man, he'll fix it fast man. He's Floyd, Floyd Miller, he's the glass, glass man. Floyd Miller!"
I totally crack up at that commercial. I don't know if you saw it during christmastime, but there was a car commercial with a guy dressed up like rudolph, on all fours, trying to attack people with his antlers, all the while selling cars...I guess. It made Andrew totally annoyed, but I laughed outloud every time.
The quality of commercials in this town is phenomenal! I have to admit, I will miss things like that. I just hope they pay that poor guy well to dress up like that for the commercials.
Hi Dan. You don't know me. But I stop by and read your blog every now and again because it's interesting to me. We have mutual friends. Anywho, I had to comment on this because one of my husband's and my favorite pasttimes is getting a kick out of our lovely local commercials. Question: Have you seen the Kremer Dental commercial with the beautiful jingle at the end? It is so great. It actually shows the lady who is singing the jingle. Watch for it. Classic.
