I'm gonna be a Mac man!@!

By the end of the week the love is comin'. The Mac book will make me portable and that means blogs on the run, blogs from the porceline throne, blogs with a piping hot Americano in my hand, and blogs with Asiago bread crumbs from Panera on the keyboard. Can't wait.

NBA season starts tonight!!!!

If the Pacers can stay out of strip clubs and keep their guns at home and stop running into the stands and beating up fans they are going to take it all this year. Al Harrington is back with a mohawk and Marquis Daniels is gonna give us a really strong bench. What teams do you care about? I'm a Pacers man. RIP Reggie.

Should we go to church?

Casey just sent me this article. Loved the thoughts, and I'd love to hear your thoughts. http://alexmcmanus.org/index.php/2006/10/13/should-we-go-to-church/

Got dogs?

Anyone know where I could find a really cheap Yorkshire Terrier? My wife Alyssa is a Halloween baby and I really want to get her a dog for her B-Day (she's turning 29 btw, someone please call her and tell her she's getting old). Our computer at home is busted so I know she will never read this. I'm lookin' for somethin' cheap...you know... black market, no shots, no tags, put the cash in an envelope and leave it under the door, don't ask, don't tell...you know the drill. Dogs are freakin' expensive. Someone show me some love.

Second weekend

Well, it's 3:30pm on Saturday and it's the second weekend since we opened our new facility here at the Grove. Crazy that we are actually here. I spent all 30 of my years on this earth going to church at 5320 Victoria Ave. It's weird though, I really haven't thought about the old place at all except for when I pass by when I take my son Ezekiel to preschool. I guess there are so many cool things to think about right now that it's hard to be sentimental. Welp, hope to see some of you at one of the services this weekend. www.thegrove.cc

College Night Life

Hey world, I work with the young adults at this church called the Grove. We are looking to start a group that meets on Wednesday nights in the future to bring together the college kids that go to the Grove. Here are my ideas and I'd love to get some feedback. We'll do it at 9pm because 1) we have a bunch of jr. high and hi school leaders that are college kids that are at the church from 6:45-8:15pm. on Wednesday nights. 2) College kids don't sleep or do homework 3) what else are you gonna do on a Wednesday night. I'm thinkin' no lesson...most of them will be coming from a lesson from our jr. high or high school pastor or our teaching pastor that also speaks during that time. I'm thinkin' food but I always think food. I'm thinkin' coffee, I'm thinkin' fun, I'm thinkin' bringin' in the seniors from the high school group so we get that transistion down from the kids that bail on church after the youth group. I'm thinkin' a time to see other people that are the same age, pray, keep up with each other, encourage, maybe a little acoustic, hippy worship, you know the drill.
Give me your thoughts, I'd love to hear it. We are planning on having our first College Night Life on Wednesday November 29th @ 9pm at the Grove. Be there or be somewhere else!

what up world, I'm a blogger

No idea what I'm doing, someone help!@
