What I look forward to more than anything

So I was perusing the Narrative Theology Statement on Mars Hill website and came across this. It was the last paragraph and I thought they said it perfectly. Let this one soak in today:
We believe the day is coming when Jesus will return and judge the world, bringing an end to injustice and restoring all things to God's original intent. He will reclaim this world and rule forever. The earth's groaning will cease, and God will dwell with us here in a restored creation. On that day we will beat swords into tools for cultivating the earth, the wolf will lie down with the lamb, there will be no more death, and God will wipe away all our tears. Our relationships with God, others, ourselves, and creation will be whole. All will flourish as God intends. This is what we long for. This is what we hope for. And we have given our lives to living out that future reality now.
Heck ya!

They're leaving out the rapture, the world imploding into a giant firey grave, and the streets of Gold and flowing streams of Dasani, and the big mansions we will live in and walk through walls. They are missing all of these things. What about the tribulation force? The ones who will lose their heads for not tattooing a barcode on their hand? The gap in their theology is so wide. They forgot we're going to be floating around and wont need tools? Swords into tools? We wont have memory of this place. Why would swords still be lingering around? My head hurts.
