Pics from inside Mars Hill
Today we went to church at Mars Hill...it was awesome. Getting there is hilarious. It's right next to a YMCA but there are no signs anywhere. You have to go up to the front doors to see the Mars Hill sign. They've taken over a big mall. Inside it was real bare bones in the main room. It's set up in the round and their sound board and set up is minimal. Rob shared a little bit about entitlement and then had someone from his community share. The time of singing at the beginning was amazing. The worship leader really engaged everyone, made me feel like I was a part of what they are doing as a community. More to come!

Mars Hill has a great worship CD i've heard parts of it online. you can only get it there though or online i think. i love when worship is innovative and not so standard. i think people think if you try something different everything will fall apart. their worship CD has a marching band... how awesome is that. of course Gwen Stefani kind of did that for a while. HAHA. when i mention worship, i am using the term loosely for "music in church" as we all know worship is a state of being and existence when you're a follower of Christ. anyway. glad to see some pics... stay warm....
